Located in the northern section of Victoria‘s impressive Yarra Valley, Marysville golf course is a wonderous place to play golf. Every one of the18 holes on this 5672 metre long course is surrounded by towering natural bushland and spectacular vistas. And the bonus is that this very enjoyable golfing layout has plenty of great holes to play. Meandering around some picturesque ponds and waterways, the fairways are in tip-top condition and the small to mid sized greens and well manicured. The outward nine at is relatively flat while the inward nine has some interesting undulations.
Situated right in the heart of the property, GolfAway’s nominated signature hole at Marysville golf course is the 391 metre par four 17th. Bordered by high-country gum trees the fairway has a slight dogleg to the right requiring an accurate drive. The approach shot for most is a mid to long iron that must cover a waterway crossing the fairway nearer to the green. With no bunkers guarding the putting surface and only tall gums to the right, this is a green light to attack the centre of the green.
