“Play Kingston Heath golf course, the ultimate strategy golfing masterpiece.”
To play Kingston Heath golf course is truly remarkable. The perennial condition of this 18 hole championship course is simply outstanding. Featuring slick greens, marvellous fairways and in true Sandbelt style, a healthy dose of dramatic bunkering. Located in Melbourne‘s renowned Sandbelt district, he timeless design of this layout is a real test, even for the greatest golf strategist. Hosting many of Australia’s elite golfing championships over the years, Kingston Heath is home to The Presidents Cup in 2028.
GolfAway’s choice for the Kingston Heath golf course signature hole is the 142 metre par three 15th. Considered by many to be one of the best par three’s in the World, the view from the tee is staggering. With ti-tree all down the left, one large solitary eucalypt tree midway down the right and a sea of bunkers to carry, this hole can definitely be classed as intimidating. But wait – the narrow front half of the green is bordered on both sides by massively deep bunkers that creep well into the putting surface and over the back are steep runoffs. Even though this is a relatively short par three, distance control and accuracy are paramount for any attack on this marvellous golfing hole.
A recent addition is a stunning 9 hole par 3 course with holes ranging from 140 down to 50 metre holes. Manicured to the same level as the 18 hole championship course this little layout is a fantastic opportunity to sharpen up your short game.
Kingston Heath is a private course that provides Overseas and Interstate golfers the opportunity to play upon request.
