PLAY Golf at Peninsula Kingswood
“Discover pure golfing excellence with your next stay and play golf Peninsula Kingswood experience”
Situated in Melbourne‘s world-renowned Sandbelt region, the elite and expansive 36 hole layout at Peninsula Kingswood is pure golfing heaven. Home of the prestigious 2027 Australian Open the playing conditions here are first-class all year round thanks to the impeccably maintained tees, fairways and greens.
Peninsula Kingswood’s North Course is a stunning layout with large, sloping, fast greens and broad fairways. Being the more undulating of the two courses the North offers a distinctly different golfing experience. By contrast the longer South course offers flatter fairways and intricately designed green complexes that reward well positioned tee shots. To complete the Sandbelt experience are the signature bunkering that magnificently protrude into the putting surfaces.
With a whole host of contenders including the stunning 485m par five5th (North Course) and the strategic 295m par four 12 (South Course), GolfAway’s choice for Peninsula Kingswood’s signature hole is the irresistible 160m par three 2nd hole (North Course). This exquisite green complex is delicately placed on an elevated sandhill and surrounded by natural bushland. The slick putting surface is bordered by three truly awesome “Sandbelt” style bunkers while the front of the green open and inviting. Distance control here is key as any shot landing on the front edge will be repelled back down the steepish embankment.
Peninsula Kingswood is a private golf course that provides Overseas and Interstate golfers the opportunity to play upon request.
