With it’s sprawling and undulating layout, Inverell golf course offers irrigated fairways, spacious level tees and manicured mid and large sized greens. When playing Inverell you will be met with a large diversity of holes to play. Ranging from short par 3’s and par 4’s to long par 4’s and par 5’s this course will keep you entertained. There are relatively few bunkers on the whole course which is great for those with a fear of sand. Many of the holes on the front nine are undulating while the back nine is flatter and has water in the form of a meandering creek and a number of lakes.
Us here at GolfAway agree that the signature hole at Inverell golf course is the 467 metre par five 16th. Teeing off an elevated tee you are face with a wonderful view down a tree-lined fairway that stretches out long into the distance. An accurate tee shot is they key here. They fairway narrows considerably towards the green but is reachable for the longer players. There are two bunkers front left and front right guarding the mid-sized oval shaped green with OOB over the back.
