Situated at the southern end of the Sunshine Coast, Pelican Waters Golf Course has recently been redefined and reopened to public with spectacular reviews. If you have previously played Pelican Waters before be sure to return to play the brilliantly renovated and newly added holes.
This Greg Norman designed Pelican Waters Golf Course features large gently undulating greens, large sculptured bunkering and majestic fairways. The course meanders its way around lakes, waterways and natural vegetation providing a great feeling of isolation to test your golfing prowess.
Every hole on this championship course tests your golfing brain with some short par 4’s, risk/reward par 5’s and stimulating par 3’s. With an amazing number of quality golfing holes GolfAway’s selection for the signature hole at Pelican Waters Golf Course is the 160 metre par three 5th hole. This beautifully constructed hole features water all the way down the left bordered by a massively long bunker leading all the way up to a large oval shaped green. While there is plenty of room to bail out to the right, this hole nearly always plays into the prevailing on-shore breeze and a left pin placement provides extra level of difficulty.
Pelican Waters golf course also has an impressive short game practice area, practice putting greens and state of the art driving range.
